Chelan - Graceanna Chelan For Wasserhund - came to live with Coral and I in May 2006. He is by Pascale Vom Nonnenwald at Seaxa out of Gep's Big Bear's Elenor Rigby. He was bred by Midge Clayton and Dick Douville.
He gained his Show Certificate of Merit at 25 months. He was not shown much as a puppy, and it is only since the end of 2007 that I have taken him to shows.
His first show was the club Championship Show where he won the minor puppy class.
He is a big daft lump of a dog who loves nothing better than to be cuddled and petted.
Thanks to Midge and Dick for this lovely boy who has done very well at Open Shows, and has done reasonably well at the few Championship Shows he has attended.
June 2009 saw Chelan win the Dog Challenge Certificate, Best of Breed and shortlisted to the final 6 in the Group at Border Union Championship Show. A very proud day for me and my boy. Many thanks to Ray Bolt for recognising what a handsome gorgeous boy he is.
Ray Bolt's critique read:
1 Bell’s Graceanna Chelan, nice male, good size, loved the head & expression, correct bite, dark eye, good width of chest, good bone, good coat & condition, moved straight with as much drive as was allowed on an uneven ground, holding topline & tail carriage as he went. CC & BOB
